Hear This! Auditory Integration Therapy Helping You Listen and Learn Better
Auditory Integration Therapy (AIT) improves the way the ears work.
Our clients listen to specially designed music that is "exercise" for the inner ear and brain.
At the end of the treatment cycle, the ears work better, process sound and language quicker, and listening, learning and speech becomes easier.
AIT is suitable for children as young as 2 and adults as old as 120!
Treatment cycles involve a ½-hour session in the morning and a second ½ hour session in the afternoon for 10 days in a two-week period.
AIT is effective for anyone who has an auditory processing deficit.
This describes a wide range of people including, those who have to concentrate hard to understand what's being said,
those with diagnosed disorders with an auditory component, such as autism, ADD/HD, and dyslexia, and more.
Learn more about auditory processing issues on the auditory processing deficit page.
AIT also corrects hypersensitivity to sound.
-This includes people who don't like listening to certain songs on the radio, or won’t use hand-dryers in a bathroom,
or have to leave the room when the vacuum cleaner is on, etc.
Changes following AIT cover a wide and varied range and are different for each client.
See the list of commonly reported changes here.
AIT has over 20 independent research studies proving that this technique really works!
Hear This! provides Auditory Integration Therapy in North America, Europe, and Asia.
